Our first Annual General Meeting is open to all members of Wokingham Energy Collective.

Come early for a drink! People Planet Pint Wokingham starts at 6:00 pm, also in the Oak Room. Drop by, grab a drink and catch up with fellow members before the AGM at 8:00 pm.

  1. Welcome, Apologies, Meeting Rules and Quorum verification.

  2. Strategic Presentation: WEC Progress and Plans

    • Progress from unincorporated association to formal launch.
    • Future plans.
    • Partnership with Wokingham Borough Council - Great British Energy Partnerships Grant application and shortlisted sites.
    • Member Q&A.

  3. Formal Business & Voting on Resolutions

    • Resolution 1: Approval of CBS registration, model rules adoption and delegated authority for Objects wording.
    • Resolution 2: Adoption of annual membership fee structure.

  4. Election of the 2026/2027 Management Committee

    • Presentation of candidates and formal vote for Committee Members (Founding CBS Board of Directors).

  5. Any Other Business & Closing Remarks

    • Open floor for member resolutions submitted in advance and next steps post-AGM.
